Advice on short, comedic videos!?
*****Warning: this question has some spoilers about ''THE HUNGER GAMES'' book*****
Ok so lately I have been getting into producing funny videos with friends. So far we have mostly done off-the-top-of-our-heads videos, but I had another idea.
MY IDEA: (plz give constructive crit. and your ideas too! If you have a youtube channel, I might give you some credit!)
OK so basically, I wanted to "sum up" popular teen fiction books in a comedic but short way. My first thought was "The Hunger Games" by Suzanne Collins, as I have recently read it and LOVED IT!
So if I went with this idea, what do you think I should do to make it funny, but keep it at a max of 2 minutes long? I wanted to show the most important parts of the story line in a funny way (Reaping Day, the parade with District 12's fire outfits, the games, the winning of Katniss and Peeta, etc.). Also, I was thinking of exaggerating or altering in a funny way an annoying or funny feature for each character (for example, a huge outrageous wig and outfit for Effie Trinket or making Haymitch carry around a can o' Sprite all the time). What music should I put to it too, haha?
So I currently am brainstorming ideas, but I wanted some advice from you guys about how to make it hilarious! Constructive crit is also wanted!
p.s.: What other books should I do?
p.p.s.: Team Gale or Team Peeta? :D

If you want it too be funny, it has to be something you want to make fun of. Make sure it's something you don't like. Like, I love Harry Potter so I would make fun of Twilight.
Source(s): I have a YouTube channel. Only one vid and working on others. It's Harry Potter in 99 Seconds with Images by "jellogorawry". I just started it.
