I need a nickname for a character in my story.?

I would like a nickname for Guenevere. It's not traditional spelling, I know; and if a nickname for Guenevere is too long, what would be a good name? Thanks(:

    Gueny or Vera.

maybe you can describe Guenevere a little so that we can give appropriate nicknames. But i'll go for Guen (the first name I thought), Gene, Gun (boyish type), Eve.

A nickname dos't have to be based off of the character's first name. IT could be based off of what they like to do, or their appearance. For example, if she is a talented swimmer she could be called fish or something, I'm sure you could come up with something cuter. Sometimes nick names evolve from one thing to another. I know someone who went from Amanda to Orange. I went Amanda, Manda, mandrin, mandrin orange, to just plain old orange. Or you could combine my other two suggestions, her original name was based off of something she was good at then evolved into something different. Or maybe it could be her middle name, or a nickname of her middle name. I know lots of people who do that. You know more about the character, use her personality to create a good nickname because some names don't fit certain people, if you know what i mean.

Think about her appearance: Freckles, Blue (eyes), Curly (hair), Short-stop (height)

For the name: Neva, Guen, Gwen, Vera, Eve, Gwennie, Ginny, Gine (pronounced Jean), Envre, Ev, Evie, Eva, Geniva (pronounced Jen-ee-va), G, Gin, Every

    Good luck!
