I was super close to this girl almost three years ago and I developed feelings for her. The thing is, she never knew I liked her as more than a friend because I ended up cutting her out of my life before my feelings became super serious and also because I realized that she never really cared about me as a friend or as anything more. I ve had trouble moving past this because there was this one period in our relationship where it seemed as though she liked me back. I know this because she used to send me good morning and goodnight texts and if you read them, the content of the messages are a bit too friendly. In other words, it seemed like she was flirting with me. Anyways, she was the first person I ve ever had feelings for and I still to this day don t understand why she acted like that with me. I feel like I need closure, but I know I won t ever get it. How can I move past this?

Also, a mutual friend of ours is throwing a party tomorrow and she might be there. I don t know what to say or do if she s there. Any tips?

So I've struggled with my sexuality for about five years now and can honestly say that I'm bisexual, but more gay than straight if that makes sense. I'm not going to label myself as gay because I've never dated anyone so I don't know for sure. Anyways, I'm starting college in the fall and I've decided that I want to experiment with both genders to figure out who I am. Any advice on how to meet people?

Do you ever struggle with being just friends with girls? I always find myself trying not to become too close to girls because I m scared that I ll develop feelings for them. I feel like I can t just be friends with girls anymore now that I ve established that I m attracted to them. Have any of you felt this way and if so, do you have any advice for me?

So a year ago, I reconnected with an old friend of mine who lives a couple hours away from me and we became really close. We talked everyday and eventually I developed feelings for her. So I m an evening receptionist and work Mondays and Wednesdays and this week, I ve switched days with a co-worker and am scheduled to work Thursday and Friday instead. On Monday, I received a call from my boss asking if I could work that day since my co-worker happened to get a stomach virus and I said no since I was out of town. Now today (Tuesday), she asked if I could work tomorrow (Wednesday) and I said I had plans because I made these plans according to my scheduled days of work. Will my boss fire me since I wasn t able to cover my co-worker s shifts?

So I'm submitting my application to VCU today and I'm super nervous and scared that I won't get in because my college essay just sucks. Besides that, I have a 4.4 GPA and scored a 1710 on my SATs...There's always that chance that I won't get in which is why I'm so paranoid. What do you think?

So I took the SAT for the second time today and found it to be much easier than the first time I took it. My score the first time wasn t too bad (1690). So do you think I got a better score the second time around?

Last year, I was going through a hard time personally and it resulted in me ignoring my friend. Because of that, we stopped talking. This year, we keep running into each other and every time is so awkward because of last year. Do you think I should apologize and explain why I ignored her and treated her so badly? So my main character finds out that she's adopted and begins to search for her birth mother. She soon finds out that she is cursed and her mother gave her up in order to protect her. The curse is passed down each generation to a female member of the family.

The only way to end the curse is for the female to kill herself with a special dagger. This also prevents the curse from affecting the next generation.

Side note: The curse not only affects the female, but it affects the people around her as well. Because the curse is that bad, people are searching for the dagger so they can kill the girl.

I'm having trouble figuring out what the curse should be. Any ideas?

Someone very close to me is dying of cancer. The tumor in her brain has spread so much that doctors have said there is no treatment left. I've visited her and she has difficulty speaking, she isn't eating, she is unable to go to the bathroom anymore, and doctors have recently started to give her morphine for her pain. From what I've heard, she only has a couple of days, maybe a week. How long do you think she has to live?

She's a junior in high school and she's failing all of her classes. I'm really concerned because she doesn't care about school at ALL. She has a lot going on at home--her parents are constantly fighting and they focus more on each other than on their daughter--so she doesn't really have anyone motivating her to do better in school. Also, my best friend thinks there's no way she's going to get out of her house after she (hopefully) graduates. I can see why she lacks interest in school and has more of an interest in other things. How can I get her to focus more in school? I'm only asking because I'm the only person in her life that actually gives her attention and cares for her. I know she doesn't care about school right now, but it's going to have a huge effect on her future and I know for a fact that she has dreams of being successful. Any ideas?

BQ: How would you incorporate one into a short story?

I've been straightening my hair for about two years and I've noticed that my thick long hair has been getting thinner. It's still silky, but I've lost a lot of hair and want it back. How can I fix this? I'm debating on getting a haircut and I'm definitely going to stop using heat. Any other ideas?

I used to have thick long hair about two years ago. Ever since I started straightening it, I've noticed that it's no longer thick, but becoming thinner. Currently it's almost down to my butt and it just looks very wrong. The texture of my hair is still how silky it was two years ago, but my hair has lost its thickness. What can I do to get it back to how it was?
