How long does she have to live?
Someone very close to me is dying of cancer. The tumor in her brain has spread so much that doctors have said there is no treatment left. I've visited her and she has difficulty speaking, she isn't eating, she is unable to go to the bathroom anymore, and doctors have recently started to give her morphine for her pain. From what I've heard, she only has a couple of days, maybe a week. How long do you think she has to live?

Does it matter? Why are you obsessed over the amount of time left? She's dying and she's probably ready to die. Death by cancer can be a long goodbye but once it's in those final stages, it's best for death to come quickly.

Nobody can tell you for sure, but you don't have very much time to spend with her. The greatest gift you can give her is your company. See her as much as you can and enjoy the memories that you have together. Because her case is terminal the hospital will probably give you unlimited visitation above and beyond their open hours. I hope she can enjoy some time with you while she is still alive.
