What s a good curse for my story?
The curse is passed down each generation to a female member of the family. It can only end if the female member takes her own life with a special dagger. Any ideas?
Also, other people are looking for the dagger in order to kill the female and prevent the next generation from being affected. So the curse needs to be really bad.

Hmmm.... Maybe a slow transformation from normal human female to some sort of beast with murderous intent... Or perhaps they seem normal but are plague/pathogen carriers who can infect many others around them.... Maybe as they reach adolescence, they begin feeding off of the sadness and fears of those around them, creating a nightmarish community of the mad and damned...

Perhaps it causes the female to attract the attention of others. As in, anyone the cursed falls in love with is doomed to die the next day?
