Does anyone else feel sorry for Mel Gibson?

Yes, he is a fine actor and has been victimized by gold digging women and Hollywood jews. He's absolutely right about jews. He never said anything that's not true. You can bet the lawyers his exes hired to take all his money are jews.

Why feel sorry for him? Because he has played good guy characters in movies? He's an arrogant wife beating bigot who epitomizes how trashy celebrities can be when they can't keep their personal lives secret.

The baffling thing is how many people see the PR side of him, then the ugly side that comes out in his legal and personal life and somehow conclude that the REAL Mel Gibson is the one you see on the big screen and people who think otherwise are delusional.

I really don't see how that many people can see those two sides and reach that conclusion.

Jerry Sandusky was responsible for ACTUAL good deeds with Second Mile. How many people are walking around talking about what a great guy he is and how people need to judge him based on his charity, not his personal legal troubles?

I feel sorry for Gibson mostly because he seems to be a drunk, a spouse abuser and an anti-semite who's obsessed with blood & violence. Just in terms of inner psychological weather, it must suck to be him at times.

Also I have the idea that Mel's particular version of Catholicism has led him to be morbidly fascinated by pain & martrydom, by morbid "Catholic" images of saints being tortured to death, as in "Passion of the Christ."

I think this leaves him with too little feeling for traditional Catholic teachings concerning mercy and love, much less ordinary human happiness.

Not sure that's a fair evaluation of MG, but it's how I feel.

About having to pay $425 million to his ex-wife -- I don't care much.

I can't imagine having that much money myself, so it's hard to imagine how Gibson feels about losing it The alimony decision may seem painfully unjust to him, though.

I hope maybe he'll take Jody Foster's advice and get his act together, somehow put his alcoholism and his other faults behind him. He's still got the potential to be a great actor if he can escape his inner demons.
