there is nothing wrong with a mother breast feeding a baby

as long as she is discreet about it she needs to use a blanket

as for what kirk said the baby can wait yes they can wait while

they are screaming their heads off because they are hungry

why would anyone want to take milk out of a baby's mouth is beyond me

Kind of a mom and child thing at a personal level but in many parts of the world a little baby hanging on a tit is no big deal. In our society a bare breast is still a big deal and stirs up a reaction for better or worse. I for one don't really care if mom wants to feed the child in the open for all to see but hey, I've been around & don't find it so disturbing. Of course, if three 12 year old boys are standing around gawking don't blame them.

Not a big deal in Australia. We even had a baby breat fed in parliament not very long ago (Mum was a parliamentarian). I think it's up to the individual mother, whatever she feels most comfortable with.

This is not sexual behaviour. It is nurturing behaviour. If the mother feels shy and prefers to be more modest, that's up to her. It's important that she feels safe and isn't anxious, or she won't actually be ABLE to feed her baby properly! It's very important that first time mothers feel OK about it, because feeding a baby is not an easy thing to do at first - it can be very painful and stressful establishing feeding, without opinionated onlookers passing judgement on it.

When society represses a woman's right to nurture her child outside of closed doors in what is absolutely, 100% the best way, it is blatantly misogynistic. People think it's taboo because of reasons that can be traced back to the beginning of organized religion, when people first decided that women should be subjugated and repressing sexuality was a healthy thing. So, breasts are filthy, disgusting sexual objects to most people because people only associate them with sex. Mens' nipples are just as erogenous, their only purpose is for sexual pleasure, so the assholes who think that breast feeding is something to be covered up should put on a shirt. Breast feeding your child is a wonderful, bonding, loving experience and the self-worth it gives a woman changes her life, that is if it's a positive experience for her. If something as innocent as that makes you uncomfortable, then we should ban kissing and hand holding too. People who think the breastfeeding of a child is innappropriate are total perverts, and I feel sorry for the women who have been told this is wrong, because they've been sexually objectified.

I live in Texas. Here, state law protects a mothers right to breastfeed in public. I support this right.

Public Breastfeeding in public is not necessary.

The Baby can wait, or you can take the baby into the bathroom.

The BS that it normal, is just an excuse. Masturbating is normal, too...Would you like to see people masturbating in Public? What about having Sex?

This world has loss common sense.
