Why can't I get skype on my new computer?
I recently got a new computer and since I had skype before I thought I would put it on my new computer but when I try to sign in to my skype it only takes me to my skype account page and I can't get to the actual skype page where I can communicate with my skype contacts. Can someone please tell me how I can get skype again?
I downloaded skype but I can't get the actual skype program. All I get is my skype account page. It's the exact same computer as I had before with windows XP operating system once again.

You should use Google Mail --- ( G Mail ).
It has good audio & video for cam.
I tried Skype too many problems.

Skype is cross-platform. What computer did you get? No matter what it is, you should be able to download it from the Skype website. After you download and install the program, you sign in to your account from within the Skype program. It should act the same as it did on your old computer.

Did you download the actual Skype program to your new machine and install it?
We run Skype on our Vistas and our Windows 7 and it works fine but, if you have a different OS then that may be an issue. Also check that your security is allowing it to run.
