Edit- He came from a cattery in West Virginia.
...and he's purely a pet. I plan to spoil this little one!
@Ariane- he was supervised while playing with the yarn and then it was put away. I wouldn't want any yarn wrapping around his intestines! I'm very careful with my cats. Although I practically had to be sedated when they had fleas this past summer. What a nightmare!

Wow meerkat, I think I'm gonna faint. A question about an Egyptian Mau on Y! A -- and it's actually a real one! And he's super cute! I really like the black smokes too. Very attractive boy.
That 3rd photo with the yarn is SO cute with that sort of surprised/ innocent look ( I love the looks Maus get on their faces) -- but do keep anything like that put away where he cannot get it when you are not directly watching him... and even when you are, be careful he doesn't swallow it. . You probably already know that, but I'm saying it just in case, since I don't want you to wind up with the little guy needing surgery at the emergency vet.

Wow I think this is the first Mau on this website that really IS one LOL! What cattery did you get him from? I love the Black Smokes. He's very cute but be careful - posts like this aren't allowed as they're considered "Chatting". And haters that have spotted domestics they THINK are Maus surely will report this.

Beautiful black smoke Mau - are you planning on showing him or is he just a pet. What cattery did he come from (as there are not a lot of Mau breeders in the US).
