What does an inner-wrist tattoo fee like?
I'm 17 years of age and planning on getting my first tattoo. I want to get a phrase that has been in my family for over 4 generations, but I'm also getting a diamond-style cross above it. I'm just curious as to how badly it will hurt l? I guess I have a pretty good pain tolerance. What does it feel like, in your opinion? Cat scratch, needle being scraped? I have my mothers full approval, and I really want to get this. Both the cross and the phrase are very close to my heart.

I have 2. One on each wrist. It is a little painful in that area because of the arteries and the lack of flesh around the area. Just grit your teeth, make sure you eat something before you go even a granola bar so you don't faint, and the pain won't be too bad. It will hurt the most when the coloring in is done. It is like a buzz of needles and you only feel one or two, but in certain area's it will hurt. In the long run, it will be worth it. I know I love mine. I have Julius Paul Frank on one wrist, and Just for laughs mascott on the other wrist, which is bigger than Julius. Just get your mind in a different zone when it starts to hurt. Make sure you eat something before you go. All the best and good luck. A good artist will stop if he notices you in pain and ask if it is hurting and stop. The best advice is to continue and just get it done. All the best. You never forget your first tattoo.

A tattoo is going to hurt anywhere. But I will tell you this I'm a HUGE BABY when it comes to pain, and I have 3 tattoos one of which is on my wrist...it felt like someone was scratching my sunburn with sawpaper....honestly it hurt but i'd get another one. Justt bring a friend and talk through it...it seriously helps! Good luck!!

Im pretty well covered in tattoos and about two years ago a friend and I went to go get stars tattooed on our wrists, on the outside of the wrists. I have a rib piece, calves done & my back and nothing hurt worse that that dumbass tattoo. Its about the size of a nickel. No joke!

I have two on each wrist, I got them when I was 18.
It basically just feels like a scratch on sunburn, it does hurt a little bit, but it really wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Totally bearable.

Hurst worse closer to the bone fells like when you get flue shots a doctors except like 50 needles all at once
