Creating the Mayan Calendar - School Project?
No stupid answers please. For Ancient History we have to create an artifact from the ancient civilization of the Mayans. I decided I would do a broken piece of the Mayan Calendar; my question is what should I use to create this?
I've considered clay but I'm wanting to get some more opinions on other resources I could use instead of clay, as clay wold have to be fired etc.
Thank you :)
3 AnswersHistory9 years agoOvercoming fear of new school?
I left school after year 9 and started Distance Ed; Ieft last year because life got really complicated for me but I'm back in Distance Ed re-doing year 11. I'm 17 in march, very self-conscious about my looks (I am overweight) and I suffer from social anxiety and depression. I want to go back to school but I'm afraid of being called emo because I cut, or fake if I wear my extensions. I'm a fairly shy person, so I'm wondering if you have any tips for me? I'm going to trial out school for a week and if all is well stay with them. Thank you :)
2 AnswersPrimary & Secondary Education9 years agoDecent painkillers for...?
I went horse riding on Thursday and was doing my second canter ever, because I wasn't on a lunge line I had too much on my mind at once, controlling the horse, trying to go with the rhythm etc and my toes went down. This sent me out of balance and spooked the horse causing him to do a sudden half-stop and turn, making me come off and land on my backside HARD. He is about 15.4 hh and when I came off I had a slight concussion. Well now my backside is REALLY sore that I can hardly lean over/ bend down to do anything let alone lie on the bed. Suggestions? It's not my tailbone either as I've felt over and my tailbone feels fine. What's a good painkiller for possible pulled muscles? Thank you :)
3 AnswersPain & Pain Management9 years agoWhat does an inner-wrist tattoo fee like?
I'm 17 years of age and planning on getting my first tattoo. I want to get a phrase that has been in my family for over 4 generations, but I'm also getting a diamond-style cross above it. I'm just curious as to how badly it will hurt l? I guess I have a pretty good pain tolerance. What does it feel like, in your opinion? Cat scratch, needle being scraped? I have my mothers full approval, and I really want to get this. Both the cross and the phrase are very close to my heart.
Thank you!
5 AnswersTattoos9 years agoGeneral question about Nick Jonas? No haters please.?
All fans would love to meet Nick. My question is however, roughly what percentage of them want to meet him to get to know the real him? Not because he's amazing, talented, has a great singing voice, seems like a really nice, down-to-earth guy and because he's a celebrity/rich.
Obviously I would LOVE to meet Nick and not just because he's good looking and rich. I'm not the kind of girl/fan who would use someone for money or fame. Again, my question is: what percentage of fans would want to meet him and, (obviously this would never happen, but I say this in a hypothetical term) could date him, how many would want to meet him to know the real him? 98%? 90%?
Note: I'm asking this out of pure curiosity and boredom.
Thanks :)
2 AnswersSoap Operas10 years agoTitle for My Short Horror Film?
You can find my video's on youtube (Parodies, mostly, some original) at http://www.youtube.com/user/xxLiisaMariiexx?featur...
So the plot of my horror/thriller film:
The male character is involved in purchasing illegal items from drug and smuggle dealers. He arranges to meet up with the woman, exchanges the money etc, etc, etc, and when he returns finds that she had been brutally murdered by her enemy and, naturally, was tortured and killed.
I understand it sounds kind of like a cliche, something that would bore you to death however that is just a rough summation of what I actually have planned. So, title ideas? Nothing stupid please like 'Killer'. Thanks.

How often would a person pass their theory test to obtain their learners permit?
I went for my license test after I turned 16 and passed the test with one wrong answer out of the whole thing. I was just curious - is this normal? Or am I a total nerd? :P It took my family a few times to obtain theirs...
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation10 years agoI require an Unusual World Name?
I understand the fact that I should be coming up with my own 'World' name as I am the one writing the narrative, however I would like some ideas as to what I could name this 'World'? The story is fictional and there are 'two worlds', per se; Earth - as the Hybrid and mythical beings like to say, 'Outside World', and the 'Underworld' home to the latter. I would like some ideas as to what I can name this 'Underworld' home to the mythical beings.
Your suggestions would be helpful, thanks.
