Just chanced upon this gem on Youtube : Bernstein conducts Igor Stravinsky?
Leonard Bernstein's highly regarded 1958 New York Philharmonic recording of Stravinsky's Rite followed by (IMHO) his even better 1969 Petrushka (1947 revised score) - played back to back - uninterrupted.

Is there a question here ?

No this isn't really a question, but thank you for sharing this discovery! I love the Rite of spring

Never been much of a fan of Bernstein conducting modern work other than his own pieces. I think too often he treats modernist music like late romantic work, and that kind of smoothing of some of the sharp edges of the Rite makes the piece lose some of its assertiveness. Not necessarily a wrong choice on his part, but one I disagree with.
I'm glad that Bernstein took some effort to play the contemporary music of his day, but he's really at his best with Mahler, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky.
