    Favorite Answer

Obviously Belushi, Hartman, and Farley are neck and neck. I guess I will go Hartman, since he had a greater range and a more subtle nature.

I love this, perhaps my favorite ever - and apropos for the season. (And don't be uptight - it was written and produced by mostly Jews...)

    Featuring the dead guys:

This might seem odd, but I really loved it when Norm McDonald did the news.

Chris Farley, more than any other SNL cast member, could make me laugh in the midst of a painfully unfunny skit. So my vote goes to Farley. And since all the best SNL cast members are dead, I'm going with Farley as my all-time favorite.

You mean any of them are still alive???

Kidding...Too hard to call, Belushi, Farley, Hartman, Radner...probably not in that specific order....

Favourite? Had a big time crush on Norm MacDonald...kind of skews the view....So many great Canadians graced that stage too...Danny Aykroyd is an all time fave....John Goodman & Alec Baldwin has some pretty awesome guest bits....

BQ 2: okay, I remember being a little kid & hearing the parents go on & on about Jane Curtain & Dan Aykroyd's news bits...so I'd sneak to the edge of the living room & watch...I didn't get them a the time, but in rerun I've got to admit nothing cracks me up quicker than hearing Aykroyd say: shut up Jane, you ignorant slut you

So many awesome bits...some very forgetable ones too.....

    Happy Holidaze (((Kelly)))

PS: and one skit, I've googled, but can't find...I remember Bill Murray in a lab coat & hard hat & the rest of the cast singing "look for the Union Label" in reference to weed....LOL

Phil Hartman. His Bill Clinton was the best Presidential impersonation in the history of the show.

BQ: I"m gonna cheat and say the three guys from Spinal Tap, who were all on the show.

BQ: I loved Gilda's Rosanne Roseannadanna.

    Gilda Radner

Favorite skit: I guess Eddie Murphy as the pimp Velvet Jones appearing before Judge Wapner on The People's Court.
