Rick Perry, States' Rights, and Judicial Activism?
If Rick Perry (and many current Republicans) advocates for states' rights and decries judicial activism, why is he demanding that a federal court invalidate and override a state law that has been in effect for decades (and allowed an African American to carry the former home to the capitol of the Confederacy in 2008 - the first Democrat to carry the state since 1964)?

I do not think much of Perry or Gingrich. If they are not competent to run or delegate the running of their campaigns then I would doubt their ability to run the country. Perry's attempt to have the laws changed to benefit himself after he messed up shows that he is self serving. I hope that other enlightened voters can see this too.
