Little easy, simple appetizer foods work well. Your guests won't find it easy to eat a full meal, so I would just get little finger foods (a veggie tray, meat and cheese tray, crackers, etc). Maybe some cookies, some individually wrapped chocolates and/or store-bought cream puffs for dessert.... and maybe, if you're feeling frisky, a cocktail for the night. Something simple like a pineapple juice and coconut rum drink could be your signature drink for the night, plus, you won't have to buy multiple drinks to please everyone. Provide bottled water, too, for those who don't want to only drink alcohol all night. You don't want to spend all day in the kitchen before your party getting frazzled. The purpose of a party is to have fun and mingle with your guests! :)

    Have fun!

I think that most Italian foods are romantic. A lot of people like to go out to steak dinners on romantic nights. I've always heard that oysters are an aphrodisiac...perhaps you could whip up some of those with lobster. Sounds expensive, but I think it would work!

im not sure what a romance party is but if i refer to my valentines party we had:

heart shaped cookies with sparkly edible glitter, champaigne with fresh strawberries at the bottom.

blinis with smoked salmon salad, chocolate fountain, satay chicken skewers and belgian chocolates with fresh raspberries. lobster slices / shrimp on skewers with a seafood sauce. nachos with a chocolate chilli (all aphrodisiacs) went down a treat

for dessert we had baileys haagan dazs with profiterols

keep all the food as finger food as its easy to eat and mingle

    LOL @ Sabrina!

you can make a full meal like:

pastas, tacos & rice, burgers & fries, etc.

or you can have a variety of appetizers:

wings, pizza, quesadillas, spinach-artichoke dip, etc.
