Why do so many christians believe in the second coming?
Don't they know that John Nelson Darby developed this theory in the 1800s, and it did not exist before then? It does not clearly state in the Bible that this will happen, the idea comes from obscure passages that were likely not meant that way and were taken out of context. It is a crack-pot theory.
Christians, am I missing something here?
It's useless to just say "yeah you are missing a lot" and not say what it is. And yes, I have read most of the Bible including Revelations. It is unclear.

Why do so many many people believe doc phil isnt banging some ***** back stage and smoking a joint? why do so many ppl believe the after school special dancers who preach dont do drugs arent shooting up in the parking lot laughing? Why do people believe these dumb doctor shows and let others tell them what to put into their precious bodies.. Simple Allot of folks are not very bright and want to follow a leader.

Except Yeshua said himself, and it IS written in the Bible, that he would be returning... Have you read the Bible?
