Am I old enough too.....?

I'm 13 years old too (Turning 14 soon) and I kinda feel thesame way!

Here are a few things I would like to mention first!

Makeup:

- Do you enjoy putting on makeup? If you do and if you think you are interested then try to ask your parents first if you are allowed to... Then if you are, just try something very natural or just only use lipgloss, clear mascara and maybe even blush! I feel like those things enhance your very youthful face while being simple and pretty. (try going to youtube as you said, but look for young/natural looks instead)

- You wont look like a "slut" if you dont over do it.. As I said be as natural! And dont forget that less is more!

- YouTube is great to look for ideas and can help you A LOT for makeup ideas! It helped me!

Stores-

- As Ive read, your not sure if you are always comfortable in shopping to places like AE and Aero but you have nothing to worry about! Those are great places to shop in and is acceptable for your age.

- Also at Victorias Secret, You can skip the bras and underwear but they have such girly things that it is ok for you to go in. They have a line called "PINK" and it's those things that are perfect for you! They even have lipglosses, body mist's and as you said yoga pants and sweatshirts.

- Another tip is, you could go with your mom, older sis, friend or anyone at all with when shopping to those places so you have someone to go with and you wont feel out of place. Plus, your going to enjoy your time much more shopping with someone!

Just remember to be yourself and dont change who you are! Dont feel presured to go shop at certain places because everyone does and just be at places where you like! Also look around the mall to see other interesting stores and hopefully you can find other great ones!

You should definitely feel fine at AE and Aero! No big deal = ) And yeah, I'd stay away from the bras and underwear at VS, but the yoga pants, shirts, and sweatshirts are totally okay, they have really cute stuff.

The makeup, black eyeliner might be a little much, but if you do it lightly, then it's no big deal either. Just do whatever you're comfortable with though. Hope this helps!

The purple eyeshadow is a bit much for a 13 year old. If you really want to wear eyeshadow wear a light color for right now, until your older. And yes shopping at Victoria's Secret for yoga pants and sweatshirts is ok! I was in 8th grade and I used to buy my PJ's from there. They have cute stuff :)

It's totally ok to shop for the cute clothing at Victoria's secret and it's ok if you want to start wearing makeup too just don't go overboard since your still so young just use a little makeup to enhance your beauty not hide your face.

im 13 2 and if you like the way you look in the makeup then you should were it...and ive learned that don't think you look bad in something unless you try it(like new make up styles)...and its OK to shop at Victoria secret because its what u like not what everybody else like!

Make up can be fun (: try more natural looks it does alot more for you (but wouldn't do cover up it just makes people break out Xp)

But if you didn't then chances are others won't like it either.

But if you put on the right amount of the make-up I think it would look fine.. :)

13 is quite young for make up, enjoy ur youth, ur gonna put on make up for the rest of ur life. at your age just wear lipgloss, u dnt need all that other stuff.

You're American I'm sure but try not to wear to much, wear softer colours of eyeshadow and other make ups so you don't look to old or "slutty"
