Picking a muscle car, (Girl)? Any suggestions, yr and make?
I've been wanting a muscle car for a long while but not sure what kind I want. Any ideas, I want something that doesn't look to manish, 60's - 70's, and that isn't too long because I'm bad at parallel parking ( have to parallel park a lot by my house and it's annoying).
something like this:
definitely not a Mustang (hate them their too common), and no trucks (just not my style)
picture links would be a great help
what about one where size isnt an issue

There is no way to beat the car you used as your example in the link you provided. That is a Chevrolet Chevelle.
Things to consider:
Always remember that they quit making cars after 1972 so do not consider anything made after 72 period.
If you stick to 1972 and prior you will be dealing with all SAE, american nuts and bolts and fasteners, no metric. You want this.
If you want a muscle car, not a car converted to muscle the Chevelle is the ultimate choice because it is an intermediate size car with a FULL FRAME. That means it does not have a sub frame *(half frame) like a Camaro or Nova.
Any engine transmission combination can go in a Chevelle. They were produced with everything from six cylinder to 454 cubic inch v8 in dozens of horsepower combinations.
A Chevelle has a long enough wheelbase and wide enough stance that the car will go straight much easier than a smaller lighter car like a Nova, Vega, Camaro when it is powered by a motor with a lot of torque. All good and right and safe for a girl.
A Chevelle can sit high enough so you can get in and out without worrying about what you are wearing unlike a Camaro which is why a lot of girls like Mustangs because they sit a little higher up.
Every single nut and bolt and interior and exterior part for a sixties or 70 or 71 or 72 Chevelle is available through the aftermarket or at your local Auto Zone.
Just pick which year you like the best from 1964 to 1972 and use Google images to see many cars in various paint and stock and custom schemes.
Better you go to a car show and sit in the various years because they all differ in windshield size and shape and trunk size etc so you want to choose the one that has good visibility for you personally.
Every penny you spend on the car, if you do it correctly, will be returned to you when you sell, unlike buying a new car that will depreciate in half in two years.
If you want to picture yourself driving one of these cars then watch the last three minutes of the movie "Shooter" and you will see the actress Rooney Mara in a blue (from memory) 72 Chevelle.

1969 Pontiac Fire bird. Technically its a pony car, as are the Mustang and Camaro, but most people don't know that. It is among the shorter "muscle cars" from that era.

a muscle car is a car with a big block engine unless it has a big block with a lot of hp it isnt a "muscle car" it would be called a pony car, 71 grand prix 400 big block 400 th transmission

'63 nova.they came stock with wimpy engines, but are pretty easy to find now with nice little small blocks under the hood. not too big and they look awesome-really timeless styling.
