My mom never talks to me about sex but when I was just learning about it she did give me the talk and it was very awkward. tonight I asked her a question about my period and she said don't worry about it and it's not like your doing it then as I walked out she said well I hope not. There is something I wanted to talk to her about me getting on the pill. How can I try to get her to open up more?

It will feel awkward because its a topic that u and your mother dont normally talk about but you should still talk to her anyway so that she can help you with your issues and help you get birthcontrol. The best birthcontrol is to have no sex at all,then you won't have to worry about asking your mother for birthcontrol. try to keep a close relationship with your mother because itll help her understand you more and she won't be so quick to judge you if you let her be a part of your personal life.
