What does it mean when someone says I want 3 kids, meaning 1 of each?

    if it was a typed thing, it might have been a typo. I'm pretty sure 2 and 3 are right next to each other on the keyboard and it can go unnoticed. However if it was a verbal statement, they're confused and obviously need someone to make it clear that shim is not a gender.
