How do i get rid of my two cats?

They are 5 and 2-1/2. We love them so much but its beyond disgusting living with them. We don't want to kill them or just let them go in a cornfield because we do have a heart but if that's what we have to do, we will. The reasons why we wanna get rid of them is because

1.) One sprays and one pees (ones fixed-the younger one) on EVERYTHING. Like we will be sitting there and he'll spray are leg. The other will pee on our counters daily. We clean their litter box every day and we even went to petsmart and bought this $100 plug In to make them stop peeing and spraying. Also we have to hide things we don't want to be ruined and we sleep with our doors close cause they'll pee and spray our mirrors and clothes. Its just a mess.

2.) They fight and hiss a lot. Its so annoying.

3.) They'll hide a lot

4.) They'll eat WAY too much.

5.)they scratch every single thing

6.) They jump on everythjng, we even tried cleaning with vinegar to make them stop jumping on thinga.

And its overall making this household crazy. Its making us all frustrated because they ruin all our stuff

-this is the first time we owned cats so we here help.

You have far too little knowledge on cats, not enough to be a keeper or owner of any responsibility level.

Please surrender your cats to a rescue, not a shelter, and not a highkill."

Killing and abandoning don't even cross te minds of responsible owners, which gives it more weight still.

Responsible owners have their cats sterilised, so they don't spray.

    1. The one pees cause most likely you feed crappy dry food, so it's got a bladder infection that a few dollars sorts out at the vet. With responsible owners, anyway. You have the litterboxes in the wrong place, or with the wrong litter, or you have only one box, I am guessing, between them while consencus has been for years at least one per cat, maybe one extra?

    2. You never got them fixed/sterilised. They can't do it themselves, you should be aware of.

    3. Can't blame them, actually, they show you through this that your place is so not for them, they're not happy.

    4. When you feed them low-grade crap, you pay the price...and as you can see you've now got a cost at the vet too. Cheap food is nasty and causes health issues because of the low grade of food that it is.

    5. You can teach your cat to not scratch.

    6. You never taught them right from wrong, so you cannot blame them.

Remember they are cats, and cats run and jump, so if you have no cat furniture...rather spend the time and find them another home, while you go and help out at the local pound to learn more about them, enough to be a good owner, responsible and making the right choices for your animal. :)

post them on craigslist, find a no kill shelter, or find a rescue, a friend, neighbor, someone. if you give to animal control, they will most likley put them down within 3 days (cats have 3 days, dogs have 7)

    EDIT:

if you spay/ neuter them, they will not spray nor pee and usually have a better temper:)

I had the same problem but as soon as we got them fixed they stopped and now they are completely normal, lovable cats who we adore to bits

if you REALLY feel this strongly towards them i'd say either take them to the SPCA or put them on Kijiji to put them in another home directly

well my cats did that and i took them to the vets to get there bits choped because they were doing that after they stoped spraying and marking there area on the sofa and now they dont do that but if you still want to give them away you can give them to a friend or the RSPCA but don't give them to the pound

pet shop, advert in newspaper / internet. the quickest way to to get rid off them. always sad...especially if you actually want to keep them cause you love them. but if it makes you feel better.

dont get upset about comments in regards to: responsibility, why did you get them in the first place etc etc.

sometimes it just simply doesnt work out. a good friend of mine has literally a zoo in the house. cats, dogs everywhere. she takes them in and looks after them. but sometimes she has to give an animal away as it drives all the other animal nuts!!!!

get the older cat fixed before you give up and give them more attention.

the one who is peeing is probably doing it because they're not getting attention.

..u would kill ur cats or abandon them in the wild?

You're a heartless person. I hope to God you get what you deserve.

You can go to a animal shelter and say you found them as strays ( my uncle did that once :( ).

why did you get cats if you just want to get rid of them? didn't you think of the responsibilities? well anyways you could probably find a shelter to give them to.
