Does owner of health insurance policy see what procedures you have?

I am under my fathers health insurance plan and am just not comfortable with him seeing what I have done and where. Generally I know doctors can't share information after 18, but will they see the procedure come through on insurancd. Also I am 24 before I hear my father needs to know, thank you.

Yes, your father will know which doctors you visited, and what procedures were performed. The EOB he will receive will detail what charges were incurred, and what the charges were for. If your privacy is that important to you, then either pay out of pocket or buy your own insurance.

I'm guessing you're in college full-time, so the question is, do you have a choice? No matter what the answer was, would it matter, or do you plan on dying rather than getting treatment because daddy might see it?

The policy SUBSCRIBER will get a copy of the "explanation of benefits" form - they'll see what CLAIMS have been filed. So, yes.

So, if you don't want dad to know, don't use dad's insurance.
