Selling items on Etsy?

I've just started. How was your experience like when you started? I've posted up 5 items so far and I have more to sell but I need to wait for my postage scale so I can estimate the whipping fee. So far, people have only "admired" or "favorited" my items. How long did it take for somebody to buy your very first item? I am starting to have some doubts because it's hard to believe that everyone gets successful from selling on Etsy.

Here is my shop. I work alone and I don't have anybody to take pictures for me or anybody to model my items. I can't take pictures outside because the weather has been bad lately.

Don't give up the ship yet. Things on etsy must be handcrafted so I'm not sure about your clothes-no offense-I just didn't know. But everything is nice. If I was looking for a bracelet I want to see more choices-put up a few more. Esp with other colors.

i have heard of people listing and selling on there. I, myself, have been thinking of selling on that site as well. I used to have my own arts and craft business here in town for over 4 years and sold in a local store here. When the shop closed down, well there went my business. But I miss doing my handmade creations. I will check out what you have. good luck in your venture =)

don't expect to get rich - my sister has only sold a few items on Etsy in over a year - handcrafted items are not high volume sellers
