    $2.90 per hour, and that was in 1979. I think that was before the big oil crisis in 1980 so gas might have been around $0.40-$0.50 per gallon, but I'm not exactly sure. That was when I was in high school before I had a car and it was a short walk to work.

    It was 1991. I was earning 4.25 an hour. Gasoline was about 1.00 a gallon.

    $2.15/ hour service minimum wage. 2003. Not sure about gas...didn't drive then.

    7.50 and I think it was 2.50 or so? And 2004.
