What is the grammatical error in the following sentence?
"My husband was quick to judge me."
In a Stephen King book, he talks about how there is an obvious grammatical error in that sentence...... Where? Hahah, all I can think is that "husband" should be capitalised because maybe it counts as a personal pronoun

Sorry, I discern no error whatever.

A black mustache cannot weigh 180 pounds. So it would be better to write "The bank robber was described as a tall man weighing 180 pounds with a black mustache. On the other hand, this sentence would seem to imply that the tall man weighed 180 pounds because of a black mustache, which would seem to be highly unlikely. Harleigh Kyson Jr.

I just googled the same sentence you asked about because I couldn't see the error either.
Then I did. Stephen King actually wrote:
"Yet we soldier on, gamely circling the misused word in sentences like "My huband was to quick to judge me" or crossing out "swum" and replacing it with "swam" in the sentence "I swum out to the float often after that."
See it now? Keep looking!
(Okay . . . there's an extra "to" in there and it should be spelled "too" — "too quick to judge")

Maybe he's being ironic, implying that a man would never judge... Only thing I can think of.

"Too" is a adverb and can be used to replace words like "additionally", "very","extremely",excessively", "too many"or "also".
So when trying to decide if you should use "to" or "too" try to replace it with one of the words I mentioned up above..... If the sentence still makes sense then you should use "too"
My husband was "excessively" quick to judge me
My husband was "extremely" quick to judge me
My husband was "very" quick to judge me.
