What is a fair price to have an a/c installed in a 2002 Ford Focus?

Came from the factory without one. I bought one for $2500 - with 111,000 mi. in good condition.

    If you don't have AC in the car allready.. your looking at a hefty bill thousand or more probably. Just because of all the parts and placement.. AC pump condeser evaporator all the lines and belt.. it'll be costly

    The cost of parts and installation will be about $2500-$3000. Is the car worth that much? Sell the car and buy one with AC already installed.

    You'll be lucky to get one for less than $1500. Call a Ford stealership and find out.

    It won't be worth the money it costs. Sell the car and buy another one if you really need AC. WTF were you thinking?
