Ohwhyme?

There is a home and garage on land... Near a major business area in Mobile, Alabama. Home is about 2000sq ft. - near railroad tracks which may be a bad thing.. But is commercial and residential zoned with many businesses already on our street.

Came from the factory without one. I bought one for $2500 - with 111,000 mi. in good condition.

5 speed.

Mixed breed. Almost 5 yrs old. We have been working with her. I do have a crate but don't want to use the crate as punishment and don't want to use shock collars. I'm not a complete idiot when it comes to dogs. I have raised and trained dogs for 15 yrs. But. This dog is ocd. Pls no rude comments like last time I posted for help. This is not the time for anyone to bash my intelligence. I know its pure instinct. Dogs chase cats. Cats chase mice. But...I also know that dogs and cats can live together peacefully. Thks.

It sounds like a loud hissing - kind of like a really loud fan. But, either I can't hear it or it goes away once I turn the a/c button on.

It doesn't sound that way all the time, just enough to make me worry. Can anyone tell me what might be the problem? And if you have any idea what the cost would be to fix it.

btw: The car runs fine - the only other problem is that it seems to stall a bit when I crank it. It always cranks, just acts like it doesn't want to sometimes.

My husband was charged for a small amount of weed that was found in our house - I think it was either an old room mates or maybe it was ours from years ago. (cops searched our home after following him into the driveway and ticketing him for no tag light!!) Anyway, he produced drug screens from his job to show he is clean and the city attorney told out attorney he would drop the charges b/c of the drug screen being good - so we paid the attorney 500.00 to go to city court - that day all he did was ask the judge to move the case to county court (otherwise he said he could not get it dropped in City court - rules different??) SO now he wants 1000.00 on top of the 500.00 we already gave him just to go to county court for the same charge. Does this sound right ? I feel like he is sucking us dry! And I also want to know if the prosecuting attorney has already agreed to drop the charges - do we even need to have an attorney at the county date? Any advice ? email me if you need more details

She is only 17 years old - I am 28 and I have given her all the advice in the world but I am still afraid I am missing something or maybe there is something else I should be discussing with her - Any suggestions and any good websites ?? Thanks !!

I have no idea which setting to set the multi meter to? It has four different levels (one with a V and a line beside it with 3 dots under it - and A that is the same- then the ohm symbol and this V~ symbol ) and after I set it - there are four holes to plug into one a, the ohm symbol, the COM symbol, and the V symbol. I know that is a lot of crap but I am hoping someone that really knows about this stuff can give me some kind of idea as to what to set it on to test my dryer heating element! Please help!

I am renting to own and this is the third used dryer they have brought to me - the first one overheated all the time and then justed stopped heating all together - the second one would tumble but no heat and the third one is the same! The guy who installed my plug said that it in no way is an electrical problem -but someone at my husbands work said it is most likely a problem with the breaker- The guy who installed the wiring said they are just bringing me dryers with a bad heating element. Any advice on what to do? How can I check things out myself?

It is approved by the vet med authority of Australia but not the FDA. I thought about giving it a try - what do you think ?

My younger dog (year old) has just started tearing the house apart. She never did this before while my older dog was alive and now she is going crazy. I don't know if she is just lonely or maybe she lost the authority figure in the house. I have never had to crate her before. Is it too late to start now?

I know it is late in the year but my husband and I just had to put our ten year old rottweiller to sleep after two days in the hospital. We spent pretty much all we had save up plus some. I know that sounds horrible but I am being honest at least. We love that dog and so did my 7 year old boy and we tried everything we could to save her. Now I am facing having almost nothing for the holidays.

PLEASE- no rude remarks- it is difficult enough to ask for this type of help. I just don't know much about this type of help and I have never had to ask for it and wished that I didn't have to ask for help

now. But more than anything in this world - I want for my son to have a decent Christmas. He deserves it!

This has been slowly happening for the past 3 or 4 days. She is vomiting brownish liquid - sometimes a little foamy. When she got up to walk this morning she almost fell down like she has lost her coordination or has no strenght. I finally gave her some Pepto Bismol and she has a temp of 100.6 which is pretty low. Does it sound like she has been poisioned or just a some other kind of sickness going on? She is up to date on shots and heartworm negative- and on heartworm preventative. I used to work for a vet about 10 years ago so I usually know what to do when she gets a little sick but this time she has me worried and I need some help. So far- the pepto bismol has helped her and she has drank some water - but only a little bit. If she continues to get worse I will take her to the vet TODAY--SO please no hateful answers accussing me of being cheap and uncaring ---which is the response some people get when they ask for help with dog issues.

they have had parvo vaccinations and been dewormed. flea medications and very healthy. They are from a stray that my husband and I took in. She is great and we had her spayed a few weeks ago because we want to keep her. But I really can't keep any of the puppies (as much as I want to)!

Also, any advice on free ways to advertise would be great!

And please don't send me any hateful remarks about bringing puppies into this world and not wanting them! I took in a stray and have spent a lot of money to get her shots and spayed! I have had my older dog for the past nine years and she is spayed also and has always been vaccinated and well taken care of.

Last time I asked for help with the puppies I got some rude answers and got accused of being careless and cheap.

So, that's why I wanted to clarify things this time!

The knob will be on (for example: set on timed dry 60 minutes or "more dry") but I have not pushed the start button yet - to start the dryer running completely. It doesn't heat up like that all the time and it doesn't do it when it is in the off position and it doesn't do that when it is first plugged in. So, I don't know if it is some kind of wiring problem or not. I am just happy it is finally working now but am concerned about it heating up like that.

**Also-- I feel like it is heating up too much. I mean it is almost too hot to touch the top of the dryer sometimes.

Please let me know what you think. I didn't do anything to get it to heat up (it wouldn't heat up at all to begin with) I just flipped the breaker off and back on and ran the dryer again and it worked. So I couldn't have messed anything up because I didn't bother with anything. Thanks for all your help!

i thought they were two different things. please tell me the difference. also - he has a problem with his legs swelling and hurting him very bad - he will get cold sweats and nausea along with the legs swelling. Is this because of the diabetes or could it be something else ?

we just spent 150.00 to get wiring done for a dryer - my husband heard at work that if the electrician put in a fuse that wasn't 40/40 then the heating element would not work. so far we have put in twp dryers and they will tumble but not heat up! Please help before I spend anymore money!!

should i check for any other problems before i repalce the heating element? it tumbles fine but will not get warm.

they will grow to be about 45 pounds - they are mixed breed and have had first shots and been dewromed - mother was a stray that had been abused and i took her in when she was already pregnant she has been spayed this week and we are going to keep her but i have 5 puppies left and have to get rid of them. i love them all but i have no more room to take care of another dog!! any info on any no kill clinics in mobile area would help also.

THE DRYER IS A HOTPOINT HEAVY DUTY AND THE PLUG IS A GE BRAND PLUG. IT IS A 3 WIRE PLUG AND IT IS NOT COLOR CODED SO I NEED SOME HELP!
