Help with my X-Men fanfic?

I'm looking to write an X-Men fanfic but before I start I need a good solid villain. Preferably not just the Brotherhood. This can be something from the comics or something original. Thanks! :)

Maybe use the Hellfire club.
It has members in it like
Sebastian Shaw
Emma Frost
Harry Leland
Donald Pierce
Selene
Shinobi Shaw
Phoenix
You could also take villains from other comic books and use them.
Or make a totally new one up.
