Can getting haircuts in barber shops might cause a chance getting any infections?

My dad doesnt really like it when I get haircuts in barber. He's not cheap or anything but he usually says you can get infections or diseases spread? I dont think thats true about diseases spreading. I tell him they clean the supplies but he still doesnt give a damn

I don't really know how to answer this question but if your dad's just cutting your hair then washing the supplies isn't that big of a deal but a good idea. The blue liquid you see at the barbers is what the dip everything that isn't disposable in, its called an antiseptic and it cleans off all of the germs. If it makes your dad happy the just let him do it.

Unless he nicks you with the razor and you bleed a little, its not going to kill you if he doesn't wash them.
