the recent testomony information Jesus as having been crucified on the time of the Jewish Passover. consequently from that ingredient to this the date of the Christian Easter has been tied to the date of the Jewish Passover. apart from, all the fairs (alongside with Palm Sunday) that are with regards to Easter are thereby additionally in a roundabout way tied to the date of the Jewish Passover. 25 December become probable settled upon because of the fact the date for Christmas because of the fact it would help to ease the conversion of pagans if their midwinter fairs must be Christianised.

  • Starting with "Easter" it is an acknowledgment of the Passion, death and resurrection of Jesus. The date the this holiday takes place has been moved in the modern calendar to match the Jewish holiday of Passover. This has been done as long as anyone can tell. We know from ancient accounts that the holiday was already well established by the mid 4th century. So we know that holiday was already well established at the time of the Nicene Council. The name "Easter" is what it is called in the west after about the 8th century. Contrary to anything you may have heard none of the "Pagan" stories are true. Most of them come from channeled sources. If you check ancient sources you won't find any of these stories to be true. In the Eastern Churches it is called Passover or Pasha. Jesus is referred to as the Pascal Lamb.

In ancient times it was believed the Jesus was killed on the day he was conceived. If this was true would place his birthday at about the 25th of December. This is why Christmas is celebrated on that day. It is not moved around like "Easter" because it is not associated with a Jewish Holiday besides no one is sure of the exact date anyway. The day of the "Sun God" was decided after the birth of Christianity.

    That's the real story.

Reality is- Jesus, who IS God came to earth as a baby for the sole purpose of dying for our sins so that we can go to Heaven if we accept His sacrifice as our own personal Salvation. We do NOT know the exact date that Jesus was born and the date of Dec 25th was the date chosen to celebrate the blessed event. It was instituted at the same time as a Pagan festival to Christianize it and to hopefully take people's eyes off of their superstitious holiday and to orient them to the Truth of Christianity. The word Easter is actually a mistranslated word that sounded like 'paschal', which means "Passover", but the word translated as Easter, comes from the pagan deity 'Ishtar'. King James made a booboo. Actually, the Passover IS the true, accurate date of the death of Jesus. The date fluxuates from year to year to coincide with the Jewish calendar and the celebration of the Passover, which IS when Jesus was crucified. It isn't an accident that Jesus was crucified on the Passover. The Jewish people, during their captivity in Egypt was told to kill a spotless lamb and sprinkle its blood on the door of their homes and when the death angel came by, it would "Pass Over" their home, but the homes that were NOT covered by the blood of the lamb, the Egyptians, the first born in each of those houses would die. This was a punishment for Pharaoh not releasing the Jews from their slavery. Jesus was crucified on the Passover because He was the Spotless, slain Lamb of God chosen to shed His blood so that we could be forgiven for our sins so that we could go to Heaven if we accepted Jesus' sacrifice as our own. Did these happen? Yes they did and it can be proven from the writings of the 20 + authors of the 27 Books of the New Testament as well as other writings of at least 32 Pagan and/or Jewish Historians of the1st and 2nd centuries.

    no, that is not true.

God promised Adam and Eve that He would take on human body and die for them and their righteous seed.

the devil (satan) knew this. he told nimrod to create a religion that would somehow ruin God's plan.

so, nimrod started a new pagan religion.

then God changed the language into 70 different languages. so this pagan religion was practiced in 70 different languages now. after languages began to get mixed, now u have paganism in every language.

today's pagans think christians stole their holidays. that's not true. nimrod stole God's holidays. so, in a way, pagans stole it from christians-to-be.

soon, a world figure will come who will unite pagans around the world. he's called the antichrist. this dude (and anyone who follows him) will go to hell. also, all who receive the nwo electronic tattoo, will go to hell.

I love how people say they are pagan holidays, which is not true. They come from biblical beginnings. Anyway why does it matter, they are biblical holidays today anyway.

They are both Pagan holidays hijacked by Christians to make converting from Paganism to Christianity easier. You see, Christmas was originally a Pagan festival, so they said Jesus was born on that day so Pagans can still celebrate their festival while converting. The early Christians never celebrated birthdays either because that was a Pagan thing, and they wanted to stay far from the Pagans.
