Let's say Jesus came back to earth tomorrow. Instead of killing all the infidels with fire, he decides to run for president. 2000 years in heaven didn't change the Son of God: he still holds the same stance on everything as he did when he died. And for some new problems, he has to make up a few (Abortion, immigration, all things that weren't problems 2000 years ago). Officially, someone not born in the states can't be elected President, but we'll ignore that rule because it's Jesus.

Then he joins the race and challenges Obama (and Herman Cain, Ron Paul, Mitt Rodney, Michelle Bachmann and any other candidate)

Would Jesus win? Or would the Son of the Heavens be beaten by a landslide?

I, personally, agree with Pat Condell:

''Jesus would never be elected, he's a middle eastern Jew who talks like a hippie. They'd label him a socialist-if they didn't threw him in Guantánamo Bay for being a suspected terrorist.''

The democrats will send Obama. He's not too high in the polls, this might be a chance for the republicans.

But Palin won't run (although I doubt she would have been picked by the republicans), Huckabee won't run, Trump won't run.

I'm torn. I do not want another Iraq, but in Kosovo and Rwanda the UN did nothing and we know how that ended. Given that the Arabian Legaue supports it too, I say go on, and bomb that tyrant to hell. But make sure the controls stay at the UN and not in US.

I wanted to ask something to christians. Atheists don't need to reply.

American Conservatives have decided the bible is too promoting about things like socialism and liberalism, so they decided to re-write it and remove everything they think is ''liberal bias''. Well, what do you think about your holy book being re-written for political reasons?

Few examples:

1. The famous quote ''He who is without sins throw the first stone.'' is taken out because it's ''liberal bias''. The whole part of the gospel will be taken out.

2. The word ''Fellow'', as in fellow worker, is used 55 times in the bible. As it could be considered socialism, it will be replaced by other words. Same for the word ''Comrade'', which is used three times. It will be replaced by the more Conservative word ''volunteer''.

here's my point. England holded firm against the Nazi's alone for quite a time. then America was attacked, and they smashed in the West of Europe. true. but 60% of the german troop, 70% of the luftwaffe and 65% of the tanks and trucks were fighting the USSR. I never hear an american giving them credit. so please, why do americans seem to think they won the ar, while they fought less than half of the german troops, with the help of the other Allies, while the USSR army was doing more from the east than America with the other Allies from the West?
