"in the USA" is pretty broad.

You realize this is NOT a travel agency. We can't answer this.

What you have to do is find a price for a ticket. Go to a travel site, and find ticket prices for YOUR home city/airport, and the destination, and the dates that you wish to travel. Ticket prices vary by your dates and times. They change ALL THE TIME, so until you actually buy them, they can go up and down by a couple of hundred dollars. You should make sure you look at the FINAL PRICE. Some sites give that to you up front, others make it look like they are really cheap, but when they add all the extras on, they come out about the same.

Hotel rooms can go from about $25/night per bed at International Youth Hostels, to hundreds for luxury rooms. You have to choose how you want to travel, and if you want to pay and book in advance, or take your chances, and just walk into a place, which is cheaper, if they have a room, but sometimes impossible.

Everything else, prices are close to the same as at home. Figure how much you pay for a meal at home, and that's what you're likely to pay there. Souvenirs, same.

There are a lot of variables here and it's impossible for anyone to give a price without knowing exactly where you are and where you want to go. You will need to travel from your home town to a major international airport that services Spain or Italy; then there will be different prices from that airport to the airport in Spain (maybe Madrid or Barcelone), and different again for Rome, Italy; then there is the cost of accommodation and that depends on the type of hotel/hostel you want to stay in and how long you will be in Italy or Spain.

Have a look at a website such as Webjet to get an idea of the flight costs: http://www.webjet.com/

EDIT: You'll also need to include the cost of a passport, and travel insurance. Plus food, entertainment, sightseeing etc.

From Korper in Slovenia you can get a train or bus a few miles into Italy for a couple of Euros.

From Beijing it's an expensive flight away.

    Where are you?

    EDIT

Around $600 for the flight. For cheapest accommodation stay at backpacker hostels for around $40 a night, otherwise budget for hotels at twice that.

Daily spending money for eats and seeing sights, around $50 a day minimum

    Travel isn't cheap.

    Bon voyage
