How can I combat Nausea please ?

New Tablets are causing me to constantly feel sick. I have to take the tablets, any ideas how to stop feeling sick please ?

Update:

The Tablets I`m taking are ADCAL -D3, a calcium carbonate and vitamin D1. I have a problem with my Parathyroid Hormone, so taking these tablets will stop the Parathyroid from taking calcium from my bones ! I just have to take 1 twice a day, anytime not food specific. They are effervescent so make a nice drink. The info leaflet said may cause nausea, flatulence and diarrhoea !! Not nice at all but have to take them or may get Osteoporosis.

The best advice I can give, is to tell your doctor what is happening. They should know best how to treat it.

Could be alot of things. I know when I had gall stones that is EXACTLY how I would feel. Didn't matter what I ate or didn't. If it's been bothering you that long, don't wait till it is convenient, cause it never is, get into your doc and have an ultra sound to rule out gall stones. This type of nausea stomach pain cycle can go on for years. I know someone that it did that to for over ten years. Mine was intense and acute and looking back I see that there was an issue, but it never really got bad, and I ate healthy too, so I just ignored it until emergency surgery. Tums, rolaids, pepto bismol, baking soda and warm water, alkaseltzer. Maybe one will help. Also try a heating pad or a very very hot shower pelting on your midback area or your mid stomach area (on your front). Keeping you in prayer. :)

  • Hi, if you have some Finnegan (promethazine) and some tagament. You'll be fine in just under 15 minutes, if not, crackers anything dry and some weak tea or ice chips will do. If you don't have the promethazine. Tagament will do. The generic name is Ranitidine. Don't forget the cold wash clothe on your forehead and quiet. Good Luck. This is not the way to start out the New Year. Good Luck and God Bless. Blackie

Make sure you have read the directions, some tablets need to be taken AFTER food, or BEFORE food. If you keep having a problem try something gingery. Check with the doctor if there are any alternatives, e.g. same tablet with coating on. Hope you find a solution.

Have you tried eating a little something (bread, toast, crackers) or drinking some milk (coats the stomach) say 20 minutes PRIOR to taking the pill?

Without knowing what your talking, try a teaspoon of maylox. If you lived in California and had a doctors note I would tell you to smoke marijuana it would help guaranteed.

Source(s): Hope the maylox worked. If you speak with a doctor try prilosec or zantac for stomach acid.
