How do you break up with someone who loves you?

Honestly....just break up with him. Someone who threatens his life like that and puts that on you is terrible. You don't want to end up hating him, so just do it softly and be as nice as possible. You can not stay with someone you don't love anymore. Good Luck.

It's seems your boyfriend has terrible issues with low self-esteem. Try to let him understand that he's not a horrible person but that you simply are not compatible. Encourage him to hang out with his friends and find other interests such as working out etc. Let him know you care about him as a person but feel that you both need to move on.

You could also suggest that you need to take a break (instead of breaking up) for a month or two and in that period, who knows he may take that opportunity to change or grow up, and you may feel differently about things.

Then cut contact as much as possible for at least 1 month.

If you're really concerned he may harm himself, talk to his friends, family, maybe even offer to take him to a psychologist, but don't let yourself be blackmailed into staying in a relationship that makes you unhappy.

he just wants u to stay... he probably WONT commite suicide, just an excuse for u to stay... i would break up with him... its ur OWN life, and u shouldn't be dating someone just to make them happy, it should be to make yourself happy

Don't let him threaten you with that crap leave him.
