Peanut brittle is a mixture. While I am not 100% sure of all the ingredients in it, I am pretty sure that at least it contains pieces of peanuts and chocolate. At least those two ingredients can be recognized right away because of their size, texture, shape, taste, aroma, etc. This confirms the definition of a mixture as a combination of at least two substances that are not chemically combined with each other and can be identified by their individual properties.
