Do I need wifi connection for Roku 2 XD?

I have an internet connection, but it's not wireless. I'm considering making this purchase, but I don't have wi-fi. Will I need Wi-fi, or is there a cord that I can connect from my hard drive to my Television? Thank you for any help in advance.

    The Roku requires some sort of connection to a broadband router, whether by CAT5 cable or wifi.

    You need to purchase a router to share your broadband internet connection between your computer and Roku box.
