Have u ever noticed how Rookie, or newly starting QBs do amazing for 1 season & then everyone figures them out?
It seems like every season there is some newbie QB that takes the league by storm, makes the playoffs, sets some records and then the next season looks like they are not good enough to be a back-up on a Canadian team.
Sanchez, Quinn, Bradford, Carr, Couch...
Some pick it back up in their 3rd year and get back to average, but many fade away.

It's not just quarterbacks. You see rookies in all positions, or young players who are suddenly thrust into starting jobs, who take everyone by surprise and put together a string of great games. I remember here in Dallas Miles Austin was put in as a starting wide receiver back in 2009. He played great all 2009, started off 2010 on fire, got a big fat contract, and then.... nada.
Sometimes guys get figured out, sometimes they just revert back to what they really are. Sometimes they get the big money or the fame and decide they've made it, and they don't need to work as hard any more.
Tebow doesn't need much figuring out. He's pretty one-dimensional as a quarterback. He won a few games on the backs of his defense and his special teams and some (dare I say it?) miraculous comebacks, but that's not a recipe for continued success in the NFL.

some of it could be the hits they take. i think 1 year at QB would kill some men.

Yes, I have. That is why I never knee-jerk to a newcomer.
