Is it tacky to print address labels for all of my wedding invites, rsvp's and thank yous?
The wedding is semi formal. My invites will be ordered. But I'm not hiring a calligrapher for the envelopes. I'm sending out about 150 invites. Can I just print out everyone's address on labels? I was going to use the clear labels and a nicer font. Is this tacky? I don't have very neat hand writing so I was thinking it may look better and be much faster if I just did them on the computer. What do u think?

I hate the look of clear labels. Take your time and write them all out in the nicest handwriting you can manage. If you have a friend with great handwriting, offer to pay them for their services.

Etiquette requires envelopes to be hand addressed. But I understand your dilemma. Personally I would have no issue with an invitation with a printed address label. People rarely keep the envelope anyway.

If your wedding is going to be semi formal, I think you should stick to the rules of etiquette and hand write the addresses on the envelopes.
As far as the return labels on the RSVP you can have your printer do that.
Also, you realize that semi-formal means suit and tie, right?

Etiquette still maintains that addresses should be hand-written, no labels.
Though I personally wouldn't care, some people do.
