How can i receive email notifications from my Y!A connections ?

I remember last time i received message from Y!A asking me to create another email add specifically a GMail account for my own protecting sort of, which i did. Then everything has changed. From then on, i don't received any single Y!A notifications from either my YMail and GMail account. Just yesterday, i opened Y!A after quite some time, then attempt to email a connect. The sender's line only appears a question mark "?" instead of my name Elsa. After hitting "send", i was told the email was not sent because I AM NOT THE OWNER OF THIS ACCOUNT. Wow! This is really terrible? How can this be happening??? PLEASE DO HELP! Thank you.
