Restart the computer and keep tapping on F8 key. Try doing a system restore to an earlier date and then run Windows Update from the Control Panel > System and Security.
By the way, there isn't even a Service Pack 2 for Windows 7. If you need a boot disk to repair your OS, find another Windows 7 64-bit computer, click on Start and type RECDISC. You will need a blank CD for this. Note that the disc is not an installer. It's just a repair disc for computers that won't boot. If you need an installer, you have to tell me what Windows 7 edition you have so I can tell you where to get the installer.
Send me an email if you need further help. You will need the Windows 7 product key that's on the OEM sticker at the back of the computer. You will also need to know how to boot from a disc.

There is no service pack 3 for Windows 7. So far they've only released one service pack. Exactly what did you download, and from where?

Hi
you must have the authentic code for the program this can be supplied or stuck to the pc somewhere.
as the program can be downloaded from the Internet.
but you do need the indent code to get it to work.
a trip to a tech with the computer might be the only answer in your case.
