    Firstly you should convert feet into yards.

    1 foot = 0.333333 yards

    so 729 feet = 0.3333(729) yards = 243 yards

    cost therefore = 243 x 0.03 = 7 $ and 29 cent

    hope that helped!

    cost of one yard ( 3 feet) = 0.03

    cost of 1 feet = 0.03 / 3

    cost of 729 feet = 729 (0.03) / 3

    => 7.29 $

    first make both units the same.. once you have done that you should have 729 FEET(unit) of yarn casts $0.01 per FOOT(unit), than all you have to do is multiply 729 ft by $0.01 = $7.29

    answer $7.29

    it's rly easy just make the units the same :)

    use the fact that 3ft are in a yd. do 729/3 to get 243 yd and now multiply that by .03 to get $7.29
