I just bought this r4i that says it works for every model of the DS, including the 3ds, and got it in the mail today. I had an r4 for my DS Lite that i got 2 years ago and it worked just fine and was easy to set up. I got my new r4 on Amazon.com right here- http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005N2IP8E/ref=oh_o00_s00_i00_details Now 2 people complained about it but one person said it works just fine if you download the Wood r4 Kernel. I've tried that, I've tried the r4i gold Kernel, but this r4 card just keeps coming up as some japanese Konami game. Is there a certain, special kernel that ALWAYS works with the 3ds that I don't know about?

Did I buy a fake 3DS r4 card?
