My sister was shaving and she cut her leg and it would stop bleeding!?!?!?

Just place a pad or bandage over it and hold pressure for a few minutes. If she's taking any medications that thin the blood (asprin or plavax or etc) then add a few more minutes and then tape the bandage in place. Don't remove the bandage to look and see if it's still bleeding, that pulls the clot out and makes it start bleeding again. After a hour or so u can then remove the field dressing, clean it, put meds on it if u wish and recover it with a bandaid.

The best way to stop bleeding is by applying direct pressure to the cut. Preferably use a gauze pad or something sterile and just hold it on the cut for a few minutes. If the bleeding soaks through the gauze, add another one on top and do NOT remove the first one. You are trying to get the cut to clot and stop the bleeding and if you remove the first gauze pad, you are also removing some of the clot. If the bleeding continues profusely, she will probably need stitches. If the cut is just oozing, cover it with a band-aid or gauze and keep it dry for a while. Remember, water mixed with blood looks a lot worse than it really is. :)

Have her cover the cut with a CLEAN towel and put her leg UP. The bleeding will stop soon.

I'm guessing she cut her leg right on her shin bone. Funny thing about skin that's stretched right over bone, it bleeds a lot. A doctor, nurse, or biology teacher could tell you why.

I used shaving cream, razor and as a lot as my knee develop into fantastic. I allow it strengthen as long as obtainable previously i shaved back. I wore pants in the course of the time of the hairs being "lengthy". i don't believe the cream that receives rid of the hairs stops the boom a lot longer. Now, I actual have very very few seen hairs on my legs. probably because i used to attend to shave my hair for thus long as obtainable? The shaving cream is more cost-effective and the cream hair remover if a lot less painful besides the indisputable fact that it particular stinks. you're 13 huh? plenty and far of hair? i'd attempt very difficult to attend as long as obtainable to start up shaving. only for some days does it sense so mushy. Then, back to the stubs and ruffffff feeling..... besides, do it heavily besides the indisputable fact that you opt for to do it. Waxing, extreme priced. Take care

Razor cuts are always the worst! Put alchohol on it and a bandaid and keep it up and the bleeding will stop after a while. I cut myself one time and it bled for like an hour!

This has happened to my friend although Im sure your sister is probably fine, me and her are both vegetarians but I guess she got Hemophilia from this. Although you do not have to be a vegetarian she had to eat meat again and more meat products after going to the hospital for her body to become regular.

its ok, just tell her to put hydrogen peroxide or alcohol on it to make the blood stop

apply pressure to it for a few minutes, then put a bandage on it

Try Petroleum jelly.
