What would cause bleeding after a transabdominal ultrasound?
I had a transabdominal ultrasound this morning to check for bleeding in my ovaries, uterus etc. I was told to empty my bladder and when I did I noticed bleeding. What caused this bleed? She scanned my lower right abdomen a lot and I was wondering if the ultrasound caused the bleed or if it is something else?

I recently had this done and I had no bleeding before or after. It could be your period,uti,kidney stones or you could have bleeding for the same reason you are gettjng the ultrasound.
