Jehovah's Witnesses: What covenant are you under?
There was the Old Testament, where the book of the Law was by Moses and dedicated by the sprinkling of blood. (Hebrews 9:18:21) And the New Testament by the blood of Christ under the New Covenant. (Hebrews 10:15-22)
But isn't that new covenant only for the "anointed / spirit-filled / born-again" Christians that is limited to 144,000? (Who was the surveyor that kept track of this number through the ages?) I thought the Bible said "whosoever will, may come; and there's no respect of person with him?"
Anyway...if the above covenant is for a number of people that you are outside of...Which or what covenant (testament) are you under?
Where can I find that in scripture?
Thanks for your post Bar_Enosh~ If I'm understanding your line of logic correctly...You're saying there are two classes of Christians? One "in" and one "under" the New Covenant. But if you're not "in," but "under"... Isn't that just a polite way of saying...We're still "outside of" the Covenant?

Most Jehovah's Witnesses have no idea what the "old covenant" was versus the "new covenant." Their own publications muck up the issue by using the terms to support the Watchtower organization and to make the whole subject unintelligible.
The "old covenant" (covenant = promise) was made to Abraham, Issac, and Jacob and was codified by the Laws of Moses. That covenant was made by God to Abraham that his "seed" would become a powerful nation that would have their own lands, their own law, and their own God supporting them. Essentially that covenant is embodied in the books of Moses (the first five books of the Old Testament) and its successes and failures are recorded in the books of the Judges and Prophets.
The "new covenant" is the one announced by Jesus Christ that is embedded in the Gospels and codified in the other books of the New Testament. Jesus preached a "heavenly kingdom," not an earthly one. His was to be organized for all mankind, not just one middle-eastern kingdom. His was a kingdom ruled by love, not laws. He announced that he came to "fulfill the law," and he did with his death and resurrection.
While Jews are still bound by their traditions and the Law of Moses (the Torah), Christians are released from the burdens and details of the old law and are to follow the new commandments of Jesus - basically to love God and worship him, and to love your neighbor as yourself.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that their are two levels of Christianity (really three). There are the "anointed 144,000" Christians that are destined to rule in heaven with Jesus. The second group is the "other sheep," those not anointed or bound for heaven, but rather "helpers" to the "anointed class" to be rewarded by everlasting life on earth in paradise conditions. Since the late 1950s, a third class known as the Governing Body, supposedly made up of specially chosen members of the "anointed class," have been lifted to a higher plane and supposedly have a special relationship to Jehovah and Jesus through unique inspiration by holy spirit that is not shared by other members of the "anointed class."
What the Watchtower has tried to do in recent years is to suggest that that new covenant only applies to the "anointed ones who comprise the 'faithful and discreet slave' class." By inference, they are implying that only the Governing Body completely meets those qualifications. What any of that has to do with the Bible's description of the New Covenant escapes me, but like most JW teachings, it doesn't matter if the teaching is logical or supported biblically as long as the Governing Body says that's the way it is.
According to the Bible, ALL Christians are beneficiaries of the New Covenant. There are no restrictions based on separate groups mentioned in the New Testament. Just as all of Israel fell under the terms of the Old Covenant and Law, ALL Christians fall under the New Covenant and the promises made by Jesus Christ.

Bar E has tripped over his own tongue (or his fingers so to speak!)
There are tons of Watchtower literature that says the so-called spirit-anointed are "under the new covenant"...
Watchtower 1984 6/15 p.16
Jehovah’s anointed witnesses of today are under the new covenant (of which Jesus Christ is the Mediator) with a “law” written, as it were, “in their heart.” (Jeremiah 31:31-34) By studying the Christian Greek Scriptures, they get acquainted with the new covenant “law” and its commandments.
Watchtower 1975 2/15 p.105
These miraculous features provided by God himself served to draw many people there so that a mighty witness could be given and also to give powerful evidence that God’s favor had passed from fleshly Israel under the Law covenant to spiritual Israel under the new covenant.
Insight Vol.2 p.473
Whereas natural Israel was constituted a nation under the Law covenant, the “holy nation” of spirit-begotten Christians became such under the new covenant. (Ex 19:5; Heb 8:6-13) For these reasons it was most appropriate that they be called “a holy nation.”
The literature never made two distinctions of classes of "in the new covenant" and "under the new covenant" like some may wish it to say! The Watchtower literature made it very clear...either you are in, or you are out!

Those of Jehovah's Witnesses that are not in the New Covenant still are being blessed by the New Covenant.
Jesus Christ said that those who support the new covenant will be blessed; Matthew 25:34-46.
Those that don't support the new covenant will be destroyed; Matthew 25:46.
Jesus ransom sacrifice is the basis for the New Covenant; Luke chapter 22.
The Apostle Paul said that in the congregations there would be shepherds, Apostles, teachers, for a readjustment of the Holy ones.
; Ephesians 4:7-12.
When we follow Jesus footsteps closely and listen to those given as shepherd- such as the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses, which the GB are all in the new covenant-we will be blessed with eternal life.
Have a nice day.

Jehovah's Witnesses are "under" the New Covenant.
That does not require that they all be "in" the New Covenant.
The purpose of the New Covenant was to provide joint-heirs with Christ as the primary Seed of Abraham. That Covenant brings blessings to all who believe in and follow the Lord Jesus Christ, even if they are not part of the 144,000.
This is so because the Lord Jesus is also God’s High Priest and the Seed of Abraham. In fulfilling his duties in these latter two positions, he will bring blessings to others of mankind, for all the nations are to be blessed by means of Abraham’s seed. Those in the new covenant are first blessed by Christ, the primary Seed (Ga 3:16, 29), being brought in as associate members of the seed. Being made kings and priests by reason of the new covenant that he mediated, they will share in administering the blessings of Jesus’ sacrifice and of his Kingdom rule to all the nations of the earth. Christ’s mediatorship thus results in benefits and blessings to all mankind.—Ga 6:16; Ge 22:17, 18.
The sacrifice of Jesus is not only for those for whom he mediates the new covenant but also for all mankind expressing faith in Christ. (1Jo 2:2) These not in the new covenant also appreciate that “there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved.” (Ac 4:12) They, too, look to Jesus Christ as the only One through whom they can approach God and through whose ministration they can get forgiveness of sin. (Heb 4:14-16) Revelation 21:22-24 points out that ‘the nations will walk in the light of New Jerusalem,’ where Jehovah God is the light and the Lamb Jesus Christ is the lamp.
Therefore, all of Jehovah's Witnesses are **under** the administration of the New Covenant.

Romans 10
4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
5For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
6But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:)
7Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
8But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?
17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
18But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.

Did Yeshua said to His Disciples "who is not against us is WITH us"?
They preach The Father's name, don't they?
They recognize His Son, don't they?
They claim for the Kingdom don't they?
They preach to people, don't they?
Why do you bash them? Let them be rebuked (if they must be) by Jehovah. That's what Michael told the devil, fighting for the body of Moses. Shouldn't you say and do the same? You claim to be a Christian, or not?

The Jehovah Witnesses are of the antichrist since they teach Jesus did NOT come in the flesh at his resurrection. They deny his physical resurrection. This is of the antichrist. see 2 John 1:7
The Jehovah Witnesses used the freemason cross on the watchtower publications. They had a freemasony background. Their founder charles taz rustlle was also a 33 degree freemason. They have freemasonry roots all over. Do a search in google for freemason cross and you will see the watchtower used it on their publications.
Jehovah Witnesses are inseparably linked to Satanic Freemasonry.

There are many antichrists that are already here and its the antichrists that take down Christendom / Christianity. Now there are a few questions to ask here. Who is of the antichrist ? One answer we can see in Scripture is one who does NOT confess that Jesus came in the flesh. Big Red Flag here for Jehovah Witnesses since they deny the physical resurrection of Jesus. They do deny him in the flesh right there. Another question is who denies the father and the son ? Big Red Flag here, Islam denies the father and the son. There are many antichrists among us and scripture does warn us of these things.
2 John 1:7 KJV
For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1 John 2:22-23 KJV
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. 23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
1 John 2:18-19 KJV
Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come , even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
Luke 24:39-43 KJV Jesus Resurrected In The Flesh ( Physically )
Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see ;
for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have . 40 And when he had thus spoken , he shewed them his hands and his feet. 41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered , he said unto them, Have ye here any meat? 42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb . 43 And he took it, and did eat before them.
Deuteronomy 32:39 KJV God said I am
See now that I, even I, am he, and there is no god with me: I kill , and I make alive ; I wound , and I heal : neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.
John 8:24 KJV Jesus said I am
I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
Jesus said: if you do not believe I AM you will die in your sin (of unbelief), which means, you will be rejected at judgment. Its important to believe on who Jesus said who he is. He clearly claimed to be God Almighty himself. If you reject this then you will die in your sins. He made this very clearly.
The truth is the father, son and holy spirit is Almighty God.
If you reject this then you reject Almighty God
1 Father x 1 Son x 1 Holy Spirit = One True Almighty God
1X1X1=1
Jesus NEVER said he is an angel but Jesus DID say he is the "I am" of the old testament.
firstborn can mean firstborn into a family and it can also mean a title of high rank.
David who was the last one born in his family in ( 1 Chronicles 2:13-15 ) was called firstborn by God in ( Psalm 89:20,27) Firstborn in Colossians 1:15 and Hebrews 1:16 is a title of high rank. It does NOT say michael is the first creation in scripture. It does NOT say michael in either of these two verses therefore its not valid to say he is the first creation.
In Rev 22:8-9
John fell down to worship an angel and the angel said no don't do that worship God
In Philippians 2:10-11
every knee will bow to Jesus
Jesus cant be an angel because we cant bend our knees and bow down to an angel that would be an act of worship. Only God can be worshiped NOT Angels.
we are called to honor the son just as we honor the father. If you do not honor the son you do not honor the father
John 5:23 KJV
That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

They will not be able to answer that using their KJV bible as proof.
It contradicts itself multiple times.
