How to obtain animals to sell?

I would like to eventually open up a small pet shop selling small rodents, fish, and reptiles. I was researching the possibility, but came up with absolutely nothing when I searched for pet vendors. Do these places just not have websites, or do other pet stores supply their own pets. Where do the animals come from?

Depending on where you live and what animals you want to sell, I'm pretty sure you'd need to require a license first. Other than that, I'm not sure.

For supplying your own animals, it would be best to apply them from good breeders. You'd need to research and visit the spot; ask a lot of questions. Make sure the animals are kept is brilliant condition, are handled and most importantly, aren't inbred!

Don't buy stock from pet shops, especially big chain stores. It's almost impossible to find where they get their stock, and they may get them from... undesirable places. Some breed them themselves, but you won't know if they're inbred or not.

You can find breeders and buy some. Then breed or keep buying them.

Animals are not ours to buy or sell or ensalave

The only moral way is to adopt

Please, do not participate of the animal suffering and greedy breeders business

    thanks
