No, I have better luck if I want to make a resolutions to myself by doing so when I'm ready and not by the calendar telling me it's time because of Jan. 1. It is annoying and slightly amusing how they always crank up those diet commercials immediately after the New Year starts.

new years resolutions are stupid. why do people need a day of the year to set a goal for themselves? some people even know what their new years resolution is going to be months in advance. why not start then? the whole new years resolution thing pisses me off. plus the gym is always crowded for a month

Yeah. Ordinarily I don't, but this year I know I absolutely have to lose some weight. Have diabetes, doc says I have to lose a few pounds and exercise more. Dang.

I have resolved to lose 10 lbs. If that goes well, I might lost another 5 or 10 later.

Been at it for a week. Lost 2 lbs this week. Can't take credit. I have been sick all week, don't feel like eating. Trying to follow my diabetes carb balance. Anyway, I have 8 more lbs to bring me to that first goal.

Sort of. I'm going to start lifting weights. I go the the gym to play basketball all the time, but I'm going to add some muscle mass and shape up. It was more like a decision that just happened to coincide with the New Year.

No. My goal in life is to be succesful and manage my weight. I do that every day and every year so I find a resolution dumb. If you want to change don't wait for a new year to decide you're going to.

Nah couldn't think of any as I have quit smoking and drinking and the other well that is now well and truly passed sex these days. Don't gamble either. Don't believe in religion gave that up as a bad joke too. So what else is there left and I am not giving up Q&A's either.

Yeah, mine was to complain less. Broke it in like a second lol

My family gathered to share our resolutions, as soon as I said mine my dad's like "you mean completely stop complaining?".

I complained saying that was impossible and how the heck am I supposed to do that?

    lol
