How do you transfer songs to itunes?

I have mp3 files how do I transfer the songs to itunes?

    Open itunes

    Go to File

    Add file to library (to add 1 song at a time) or Add folder to library (to transfer an entire folder)

    u drag the files 2 itunes (thts wht i do and it works)
