I am neither a republican or a Democrat and my question is?

Why is is that only the Republican controlled congress is getting the blame? I noticed that that bills sent from the congress to the senate are always dead on arrival. Isn't both parties to blame for the grid lock?

Republicans currently do not control Congress. Congress consist of 2 parts - House of Representatives and Senate. The Republicans control only the House. Both parties are responsible for our mess. They are more concerned for their own selfish needs and that of their respective party. They have lost the idea of comman sense and what is best for the Country. Don't get caught up in titles and bill names. Read the bill and judge for yourself if that is something you can live with. Don't let their rhetoric play you. Many bills are not what they appear. Again, read and judge for yourself. You cannot take the word of most politicians. Just because these people are running the country doesn't make them intelligent. Most of these people are in politics because they can't do anything else. Many are too stupid to scratch fleas.

well the u.s. green party exists. i suspect what is to blame is censorship on the web because pages have a habit of having the message page cannot be displayed .the articles ignoring the other political parties appear. i mean an election shows how all the other political parties are doing. say for example one party gets 16 percent of the vote others more and so on.the green party 36 percent or maybe 100 should be.

    Source(s): internet censorship.

President Washington detested the concept of political parties. No politician agrees 100% with their party, but it's human nature to have two opposing parties. Every generation has several key issues, and because with each of these issues there are usually only two sides to choose from (for example, abortion) politicians will tend to gravitate toward like-minded politicians to gets legislation passed. Strength in numbers, after all. . .

It depends on the issue (it should anyway) but political postering being what it is usually delays results big time. Republicans are expected to have a majority in the Senate and keep control of the House and likely the presidency in the next election. The left won't like that but at least there won't be very many DOA bills to deal with.

Because Republicans are in the majority in Congress and they are in charge of the agenda.
