Does a nomination of Romney by the Republicans insure that Obama will be the next President of America?
He seems out of place in a race for President.

Almost certainly, if the economy keeps on improving albeit very slowly, then Obama will walk it!!!
Romney has done and said so many things that contradict with what he saying now, that Obama will certainly rip him to shreds over it!!!
How can Romney take Obama to task on spending and the stimulus when he himself grabbed at it, even Schwarzenegger called him two faced!!!
How can Romney take Obama to task on the health care bill, when he was partly the architect for it, and in the past was for it being federal mandated?
How can he take Obama to task on Gay marriage when he lobbied for it?
How can he take Obama on over unemployment when he outsourced and fired American workers???
The list goes on and on, Romney stumbles and stutters like an old man on foreign policy like he just hasn't had the time to understand it!!!!
Obama will chew him out good style you can bet on it!!!

Nomination of anybody but Romney will insure Obama is the next president.

It would insure that the status quo would win in 2012 and that business would continue as usual. Both Obama and Romney would govern more or less the same.

this has to be one of the most unpredictable elections in history..Obama obviously has his issues, but the constant up and down polls for gop candidates is hurting them.
gop is split between romney (guy with possibility of beating obama) or "anyone but romney "(who most repubs would rather have than romney)
romney is destined to be the gop nominee but it will be up to independents and republicans to ensure him beating obama
republicans want obama out but who will replace him?
if people are reeeeaaalllyyy sick of obama, romney could win, but like i said, this is going to be extremely close...
i'd have to say chances of winning are: 51% Obama 49% Romney ...at this point anyway.....

Unfortunately, yes. Most of my family are conservative, and while some will reluctantly vote for Mitt, others aren't even enthused enough to bother anymore. He was not their candidate. There is a sense that the GOP "establishment" is forcing Mitt down everyone's throats, and true conservatives don't like it one bit.

Yes because he is too much like Obama with his spending. Look up the Big Dig which happened under his watch as Governer.

I would feel really, truly bad for the American people if there only choices were Obama and the vanilla Obama. Their are no significant differences between the 2, except that Mitt needs sunblock if he goes outside! I'm not even sure if he'd repeal ObamaCare, as it was based on his hallmark legislation in Mass.

I had hopes Paul could successfully beat the corporate machine, but it aoppears he can't. Yes, Obama will now even get my vote. I predict he will win in a Reagan type landslide.

No, but it sure increases the odds. But given the choices it seems pretty sure no matter which of these knuckleheads gets the nomination.

It means Independents and Republicans will have to decide if they want to vote for Obama or a liberal.
